Branding Overhaul

Koala came to work with TwistedPair at an exciting time. The business was then just past their tenth anniversary, and entering what we now reflect on as the ‘hyper-growth’ stage.

The team had expanded, and so had the service offering. Twisted was working with global household names. They needed a brand which would reflect their heritage as well as the direction in which they were heading. It needed to appeal to and attract more global ‘blue-chip’ firms. These were fast becoming the speciality of TwistedPair and their sweet-spot in what is a highly competitive market.

A complete refresh of the Twisted brand was recommended, starting with the logo followed by a re-vamp of their website. The culture of the business, starting with just two guys and a shed (for an office), still exists today at TwistedPair. A work hard play hard nature, of fun, friendship and enjoyment are still visible among the team. It was essential to ensure this was well represented.

At Koala, brand is our forte. We understand that branding isn’t just colour and fonts but made up of lots of different expressions; it’s the relationship between a company and its customers. We spent time to understand the sector, the customer, current trends and the overall business objectives of TwistedPair and working with an external team also, led the process of a full branding overhaul.

Once the logo and website projects concluded, it was time for Koala to take full control of the launch and implementation of the brand strategy. This process required looking at all branded streams from vehicles to internal and external marketing collateral, social media channels and working very closely with the sales team for integrated sales and marketing tools. Koala quickly became an integral part of the Twisted team and their future growth plans.
