Working with Southsea Beach Cafe was a great pleasure. Small-medium sized businesses based in the South, who are keen to take a pro-active approach to grow their organisations, are our speciality at Koala.
As huge fans of the cafe already, we were well placed to offer our services and put our heart into the job.
The ‘crew’ were looking to offer their facilities for venue hire possibilities and seeking the best ways to take a new ‘events’ stream of activity to market.
As a starting point, we looked firstly at ways to capture data, to allow us to understand customers better. This data allowed us to take an analytical approach to campaign planning.
Across various streams including; social media, email and content marketing, and in the production of beautifully branded collateral, we were able to reach customers of SBC on a more personal level. These more carefully targeted messages, in turn, encouraged a higher level of repeat business.
The final piece of the puzzle was to develop the existing website to maximise engagement. To offer a more user-friendly platform to advertise upcoming events, blog posts, cafe news, and provide a place to showcase the latest seasonal menu, Instagram profile and details of venue hire options.
